Get Ready! The RAAD FEST Conference Was Mind-Expanding…

Posted by Judith

What is RAAD? “Revolution Against Aging and Death”. Yes, that’s the name of the 4-day conference we attended in San Diego, California August 4-7 this year 2016 and we’ll be attending RAAD Fest 2017 for sure. Yes, the scientists and anti-aging experts who spoke during the conference are on a very serious band-wagon to stop aging and in fact many are intent on finding the pathway to stopping the certainty of death. Pretty radical stuff and downright exciting if you ask us! It inspired us to get our telomeres tested, which we are in the process of doing through LifeLength, Continue Reading_»

Could This Be From My Stem Cells!?

Posted by Judith

Yesterday I saw my eye doctor for a follow up meeting after taking a routine field of vision exam a few weeks ago. AND for the first time in forever I saw 20/20 with both eyes. Typically I’ve tested at 20/30, or 20/25 at best and sometimes 20/40 in my right eye which suffered a torn retina 16 years ago which required two surgeries to repair it. AND the pressure scores yesterday when they tested for glaucoma were 16 in each eye. Typically my scores have been 18, 19, and once in awhile 20 – with 21 being the score Continue Reading_»

Jim’s Knee!

Posted by Jim

Now six months after the stem cell infusion into my knee, I am very pleased to say that I never ever get the fierce pangs of pain that would shoot through my knee every so often, no matter what kinds of treatment I tried. Only the stem cell and plasma combo did the trick! On the other hand Judith is still struggling with her painful hips, especially on the right side. However, a new expert that we’ve consulted has suggested that it’s being caused more from fibromyalgia rather than arthritis. So Judith is about to start a new treatment protocol Continue Reading_»

Erchonia Laser

Posted by Judith

Several months ago it was recommended that I purchase and use the Erchonia laser for pain and arthritis. It’s an expensive investment so I wish I could share with you that it worked wonders. That I cannot yet do. I do want to continue to use it for a few more months before giving you my final opinion on it, but right now I cannot recommend it as an aid to anti-aging.

Approximately 15 years ago…

Approximately 15 years ago we had purchased some rental properties in Albany, New York. Getting one of them ready to show-for-rent I was working in the bathtub area. I had to dig out a piece of grout in the far corner of the tub and I knelt down full force on a piece of hardened grout on the floor about the size of a marble. The pain was intense, so much so that I had to get physical therapy. So I have had a “crabby” left kneed ever since. The pain comes and goes and I never know nor can Continue Reading_»

Okay, now it’s my turn

First I want to thank Judith for her first four posts and carrying the load to get this blog started. So how was it for me? At least twenty years ago (I was 53 then) we had dinner with an online medical researcher. He said to us, “If you can live to eighty in really good health you can choose the day of your death.” How about that for provocative. But that’s when it began for me. To make an important point, for me this is not about living forever. I have no problem with the idea of dying but Continue Reading_»

Getting Our Stem Cell Infusions

Posted by Judith

Before our stem cells could be introduced into our bodies they had to be processed by using a centrifuge to isolate the stem cells. This took about an hour, so while it was in process we left the clinic and went across the street for lunch. When we returned each of us received an intravenous full body infusion through a vein in the crook of our arm, the same place they take blood when you have your blood drawn. In Jim’s case, he received half of his stem cells in this manner, leaving the other half for his knee which Continue Reading_»

So What’s the Procedure Like?

Posted by Judith

We arrived at the clinic at 9am, having filled out extensive paper work that acknowledges the process as experimental and specifies there are no guaranteed results. We then met with Elliot who reviewed our blood work and x-rays (which he’d already seen). If if our blood panels hadn’t already existed we would have had to get them done ahead of time (with his prescription). After discussing the health issues that were indicated by our blood work (nothing major), he reinforced what he’d originally told us on the phone about Nitric Oxide being critical to health and the anti-aging process—and recommended Continue Reading_»

The Deciding Moment

Posted by Judith

When we started looking into how and where to have our stem cell infusions done, we thought we would have to leave the US and go to Thailand or the Phillipines. A variety of phone calls and email exchanges resulted in huge pricing quotes and long travel requirements. Not appealing. Then we mentioned our interest to a friend back east and he told us his first cousin Elliot Lander, MD in Rancho Mirage, CA had a stem cell clinic. Wow! We were excited and set up a phone consult right away. Elliot was terrific. Smart. Attentive. Educational. Cutting edge. We’d Continue Reading_»

Our First Interest in Stem Cells

Posted by Judith

About 5 years ago we began to read about extreme life extension—living to 150 and beyond— with good health and vitality. It even made the cover of TIME magazine. And for a short while we had a little start up called “Ageless Zoom” with a couple of partners. But like with many start ups this one imploded due to partner problems. And we moved on. But while we were involved we interviewed some of the leading edge names in the anti-aging field. For example Aubrey de Grey believes that the person who can/will live to 1000 is already alive today.
